My family has lived in this area of Campania for centuries, and many historical accounts place it among those who have had the greatest impact on its history. Once, they controlled large tracts of land around Mount Massico, with pastures and livestock, then, in the early 1900s, they also dedicated themselves to planting vineyards, but exclusively for grape production.

It was my father Gennaro who, in 1988, understood the importance of valorizing the grapes we produce with such care and therefore of returning to producing Falerno del Massico wine at a time when it had fallen into oblivion.

We owe him fundamental research on the centuries-old vineyards that our family had the foresight to preserve.

Personally, I studied history and archaeology out of a passion for discovering as much as possible about my homeland, its products, the golden ages that have distinguished it and the dark ages that have damaged it. I’ve tried to learn from every piece of history I’ve explored, to understand from the past how to plan the future of my company and beyond.

Bottles of older vintages are kept in the cellar for those rare occasions when we can do a vertical tasting and discover the evolution of our wines and learn from the work done.

We have so far dedicated much of our energy to the vineyards because a great wine can only be produced from great grapes, but to grow in our ability to enhance them, we are now dedicating ourselves to further improving our cellar equipment.
